I've been tagged by Scouse Doris, a new experience, pleasant but strangely unfulfilling (yet) like a donner-meat-and-chips with no chilli sauce. Where's my sauce Doris?
Read the rules and then read on:
1. Each player must post these rules first.
2. Each player starts with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
Eight random facts/habits about me:
1. I was suspended from chemistry lessons for 2 weeks
2. I was third favourite for the 100 metres sprint on sports day at school but I finished last because I was drunk
3. My first job was selling carpet cleaning door to door
4. My ex wife made me dye my hair and pluck my eyebrows
5. I can wiggle my right ear
6. I once wrote an article abut the financial implications of BSE for the United Kingdom Agricultural Supply Trade Association
7. I was running a bar for a friend while he was on holiday when it was raided by 12 guys in balaclavas with baseball bats. It turned out to be a drug related turf war.
8. I took the blame for a fraud at work because the guy who did it had a young family and I didn't think his family deserved it. I expected to get prosecuted and maybe sent to jail but I wasn't.
So that's me and here's my tagged people:
a free man in preston
Chaucer's Bitch
Elaib
Petite Anglaise
the Red Mist
UberCake
Vicus Scurra
Adventures of a Drama Queen
Enjoy,
JJ

Sorry about this old chum, but please excuse my crapness, and if you don't mind I shall post my eight here
I can cook a fine Sunday roast, but vegetables are beyond me.
I can remember all the words to the first Marillion album, Script for a Jesters Tear.
I can hit a playing card at 300 yards from a prone position
I only buy black socks, so I no longer exist in permanent pedula oddity
I shave my armpits, and have done for years
For a short while I lived in the Barclays Bank lobby in Sloane Square
I met my wife whilst working in s sausage factory in the east end of Glasgow
I was once a Vogue model
Vogue model ? were they blind, elaib ?
and the armpits thing is rather disturbing.
More about the ear thing - you freak !!!!
Can you tell helicopters where to go to save dying people? Skippy could and he was a kangaroo and couldn't waggle his ears...
We want to hear more about the chemistry débacle. It sounds stupendous.
Elaib: you lazy git. what are you hitting the playing card with? (I assume you are the prone one not the playing card) Vague Model surely?
Agree with Zoe about the armpits.
Goth: me a freak?? Pot, kettle, BLACK
aunty: it was of course the teacher's fault. We were learning to make Hydrogen Cyanide for the Chemical Warfare Module, I thought I was winning but the teacher accused me of nearly poising the entire class. Most of them got out alive so I thought at worst I'd get a B-, but instead I became a sort of pre-Iraq "Chemical Skippy".
HA - see, it's happening already, Pots and kettles and you want to be black.
Gotta pick my new bike up today - hooray. Goth on a bike
Hey there Mr, I don't know 8 ppl with a blog so I'm going to post 8 random/unknown facts about me here as well :)
1. I used to have my tongue pierced 4 yrs ago, it was in for about 6 yrs then one day I got sick of it and took it out.
2. I ran away from home when I was 13, I stayed at a friends place for the night.
3. I have a weird fear of closing the drawers completely in my bedroom. My room is a corner-danger zone as I weave in and out of the partially open drawers. I don't like the bang sound they make as you close them completely - I'm trying to deal with this by forcing myself to close them!
4. My first job was at Maccas for 2 yrs when I was 15.
5. The only trophy I ever won was for coming first in Maths in yr 8 (of all the things to get a trophy for)
6. I pull out frizzy hairs when stressed. I also spend time hunting white hairs and plucking them out.
7. I'm good at recognising songs after hearing the first few beats (mind I have to know what the song is beforehand!)
8. I used to have shoplifting tendencies in high school (mainly earrings, small soaps etc from big department stores) - I never got caught hehe
And there you go
I'll try but I am sooo bad with tags. I always forget. Thanks for the honours though.
Goth: happy birthday, enjoy your bike. Give me shout when you get scalextric
Uber: there are some things I will never put in writing but it's refreshing to see that you don't have that problem. I'm glad my mum doean't read this site.
DQ: I understand you're busy, so if you don't have time I'll write yours for you. Something about eating onion rings off the "finger", champagne dips, fudge sundaes and raw oysters.
